In November, the month of the Holy Souls, every Friday Mass will be offered for the repose of the souls of those in our November Pious Dead List. Forms may be collected from the shop at the back of church and placed in the box by St Philip’s statue, along with an offering for the Mass if you wish.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
All Souls’ Day commemorates all the faithful departed. Like yesterday, there will again be Masses at 7.30am, 12.30pm and 5.45pm (sung), with a Holy Hour from 4.30pm. Confession available before/during each Mass.

The souls to Thee so dear,
In prison for the debt unpaid
Of sins committed here.”
The feast of All Saints, a holy day of obligation. There will be Masses at 7.30am, 12.30pm and 5.45pm (sung), with a Holy Hour from 4.30pm.

All Hallows’ Eve is a time to pray for the faithful departed and to call upon the saints in heaven. There will be a Holy Hour this evening at 9pm, in reparation for the misuse of this sacred time in our modern culture. Step off the Royal Mile to spend some time with the Lord this evening.
The Brothers of the Little Oratory will have their first meeting this evening at 6.30pm, after the evening Mass. This brotherhood was first founded by St Philip Neri to allow men to sanctify their lives while living in the world, through prayers, recreation and fraternity. Men of all ages are welcome to attend.

The statue of Our Lady of Fatima ready for this evening’s procession to end the month of the Holy Rosary. Join us at 7pm for this act of public witness to the Mother of God.

The last of our Saturday morning talks for the month of October will be on the miraculous medal at 10am in the Memorial Hall at the back of church.
To end our October devotions, there will be a candlelight procession (outdoors if the weather permits, indoors if not) of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima on Saturday evening at 7pm, ending with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
